About me
I am Sizhong Qin, currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University under the supervision of Professor Xinzheng Lu. I completed my undergraduate studies in the same department, with a minor in Software Engineering.
My research interests include intelligent design and construction of building structures, focusing on the application of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies such as LLM and Diffusion models in civil engineering to explore the future directions of intelligent civil engineering.
From August 2025 onward, I have been a Visiting Scholar at the Center for the Built Environment (CBE), University of California, Berkeley, where I collaborate with Professor Ramon Weber. My research at CBE focuses on intelligent architectural–structural co-design and its applications in building science, further advancing interdisciplinary research at the intersection of architecture, structural engineering, and artificial intelligence.
I can be reached at qsz23atmails.tsinghua.edu.cn, and I welcome collaboration and communication with interested colleagues.
